Alzheimer's Research
Needs Volunteers.
Make an impact.
Are you 55-65 years old and interested in contributing to the discovery of new technologies and drugs that could improve the lives of millions of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s patients? Read on to learn about our upcoming study at Stanford Medical Center
and sign up to participate.
Who you are.
You are a healthy 55-to-65-year old without heart disease, diabetes, cognitive impairment, or sleep apnea and you are willing to attend
2 full-day visits,
each 2~4 weeks apart at
Stanford Medical Center.
We'd love to hear from you!
Want to talk to a member of our team?
What you’ll receive.
At the completion of your two visits, you will receive $1,500 compensation for your participation including reimbursement for travel. You will also be eligible to receive your results from new blood biomarkers and genetic tests that assess your risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
What you'll be doing
At each of the visits you will remain awake overnight at a private suite. You will be provided hobbies, movies or other material of your choosing to help you remain awake, and kept company by study staff.

In the morning, you will receive either placebo or an intravenous drug that is used in clinical practice for sedation.
You will wear a device that measures a new brain biology and be allowed to sleep for 4 hours, closely monitored by board-certified anesthesiologists and an experienced medical team.
The effects of the drug are temporary and will wear out prior to the completion of the visit.
Your participation in this study may validate the drug’s ability to enhance a newly discovered brain biology whose failure is believed to contribute to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.
